In the 1861 census she was living in Mendhamm1 with her husband George and daughter Betsy Brooks.
George, her husband, died on 24 May, 1861 in Mendhamc6 at the age of forty-two.
By the time of the 1871 census she was living at Church Street in Fressingfield, Suffolk, Englandp1 with her brother John.
She married John Sage (1801–?), a farmer, on 28 Jul, 1873 at the age of fifty-four in the parish of Eye in Suffolk, Englandc7.
She was recorded in the 1881 census at Lowgate Street in Eye, Suffolk, Englandq1 with her husband John Sage, now a retired farmer.
Frances died at the age of sixty-six on 1 Dec, 1885 at Lowgate Street, Eyef2,c8. Her death was attributed to "cancer of the liver"c8.
She was buried seven days later at the Church of St. Peter & St. Paul in Eye, Suffolk, Englandr1,f2
