Louisa Hemmings (1876–1913)
Louisa was born on 2 Aug, 1876 in Newtown in Mynyddyslwyn, Monmouthshire, Walesa1, the eldest daughter of Joseph Ximenes (1840–1880)★, a labourer at coal pit, and Bridget Dineen (1842–1898)★, a house servant. She is Ian's great grandmother.
Louisa was recorded in the 1881 census at Blackvein Row in Lower Machen, Machen, Monmouthshire, Walesb1 with her mother Bridget and five siblings Francis, Rosearia, Helena, John Bryan (1865–?), a haulier and Jane Palmer (1868–1956).
She was recorded in the 1891 census at 1 Armesly Road in Christchurch, Monmouthshire, Walesc1. Louisa is working as a general servant to Thomas and Annie Williams at their home in Christchurch. Thomas is a commercial traveller and both he and his wife are Welsh speaking, whereas Louisa speaks only English.

She was survived by her husband George Henry, now a works caretaker.
