Henry died at the age of fifty-four on 21 Dec, 1895 in South Greena12. His death was attributed to "vascular diseases of the heart"a12.
He was buried five days later at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Great Bursteadf12 He was survived by his wife Susan.
