Helge was born in 1744 in the parish of Lardal in Vestfold, Norway, the only known son of Christopher Einersen (1712–?)★ and Siri Olsdatter (1716–?)★. He is Ian's 5x great grandfather.

He met Astri Thorsdatter (1739–?)★ before 1779 and had two sons:–

• Christopher★ born in 1779 in Lardal.
• Kjeld born in 1779 in Lardal.

The time and place of Helge's death is not known.
