She married John Peak★ in 1833 at All Saints Church in Newcastle All Saints, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England and Thomas Porteus in 1863 at St. Paul's Church in Jarrow, County Durham, England. She died on 20 Dec, 1891 at 81 Bell Street in North Shields, Northumberland, England at the age of seventy-seven. Her death was attributed to bronchitis.
