In the 1861 census he was living at 56 Tenter Buildings in Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire, Englandh1 with his wife Ann.

William died at the age of sixty-five on 23 Sep, 1864 at Saint Michael's Terrace in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Englandf3. His death was attributed to "heart disease"f3.

Research Notes

William seems to appear twice in the 1861 census, once with his wife Ann in Newark and again with his sister Mary in Nottingham. In Nottingham he and his sister are at Saint Michael’s Terrace which is also the address on his death certificate in 1864
