In the 1891 census he was living at 53 Inner Street, Spittlegatem1 with his daughter Millicent Mary, now a charwoman.
William died on 19 Aug, 1893 at 53 Inner Street, Spittlegatec4,d2. His death was attributed to "senile decay" (death through old age, possibly including dementia)c4.
