I contacted my cousin Margaret today to see if she would ask my aunt Sheila to take an Ancestry DNA test. Sheila is the oldest surviving member of our close Chambers family and her DNA should give us stronger connections to some of the more remote parts of the family tree. I’m hoping, in particular, that we uncover some more of our Mexican and Indigenous American DNA matches.
