Some more PDF certificates arrived today. The first for Caleb Tew:

Birth at Wood Green, Shalstone on 9 July 1846 of Caleb, son of Thomas Tew, a labourer and Ann Tew, formerly Turvey. The informant was Ann Tew, mother, Wood Green, Shalstone. She could not sign her name. Registered on 28 July 1846.

The second was for my ancestor Dinah Smith:

Birth at Jarrow, Durham on 6 June 1842 of Dinah, daughter of James Smith, an engineman and Elizabeth Smith, formerly Cumming. The informant was Elizabeth Smith, mother, Jarrow. She could not sign her name. Registered 12 June 1842.
