I’ve received several responses from Richard Hinxman, who I contacted via Ancestry. As part of my response I reorganised the list of Hinksman related baptisms from the Hampshire parish records:

Birth at East Holywell, Earsdon on 12 August 1846 of John, son of Matthew Hall and Mary Hall, formerly Miller. Matthew was a collier. The informant was Matthew Hall, father, East Holywell. He could not sign his name. Registered 18 August 1846.
